Sri Lankans like to drink porridge for breakfast. It is called "Kanda" in Sinhala and is usually made from rice or barley. In this recipe, we're making a thick porridge drink by combining Oats and Sago. It is made rich and tasty using addition of Cashews and Raisins so you can chew on it while drinking.

Sago has a cooling effect on the body (reduces body heatyness) and Oats is good for weight loss. You can drink this as a meal replacement for breakfast even because you will feel full after drinking it.
