Healthy Pumpkin Soup for Weight Loss that is easy to prepare
Pumpkin (Wattaka) is a super food and replacing 1 meal with a Pumpkin Soup is a great way to lose weight while still getting good nutrition. Pumpkin together with natural ingredients such as garlic, onion, and curry leaves provide many antioxidants and vitamins.
Ingredients
- 250g of Pumpkin
- 1 Carrot
- 1 sliced Green Chili
- Piece of Ginger
- some Curry Leaves
- Garlic from an entire pod
- a sliced Onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- Some boiled Corn (optional)
- Some boiled Chickpeas (optional)
Instructions
- Remove the skin from the 250g of Pumpkin.
- Remove the peel from 1 Carrot.

Cut everything into small pieces.
- Put a pot on the stove with some Water.
- Add the Pumpkin and Carrot pieces. Do not turn on the stove yet.
- Add 1 sliced Green Chili.
- Add a piece of Ginger.
- Add some Curry Leaves.
- Add the Garlic from an entire pod.
- Now turn on the stove and bring it to a boil.
- After boiling, let the mixture cool down a bit.
- Pour this mixture into a blender and blend it into a thick consistency.
- After blending, add it back into the Pot and heat it over low heat.
- Add Salt and Pepper.

Add some boiled Corn and some boiled Chickpeas (optional).
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
