Healthy Pumpkin Soup for Weight Loss that is easy to prepare

Pumpkin (Wattaka) is a super food and replacing 1 meal with a Pumpkin Soup is a great way to lose weight while still getting good nutrition. Pumpkin together with natural ingredients such as garlic, onion, and curry leaves provide many antioxidants and vitamins.

Ingredients

  • 250g of Pumpkin
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 sliced Green Chili
  • Piece of Ginger
  • some Curry Leaves
  • Garlic from an entire pod
  • a sliced Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Some boiled Corn (optional)
  • Some boiled Chickpeas (optional)

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from the 250g of Pumpkin.
  2. Remove the peel from 1 Carrot.
  3. Cut everything into small pieces.
  4. Put a pot on the stove with some Water.
  5. Add the Pumpkin and Carrot pieces. Do not turn on the stove yet.
  6. Add 1 sliced Green Chili.
  7. Add a piece of Ginger.
  8. Add some Curry Leaves.
  9. Add the Garlic from an entire pod.
  10. Now turn on the stove and bring it to a boil.
  11. After boiling, let the mixture cool down a bit.
  12. Pour this mixture into a blender and blend it into a thick consistency.
  13. After blending, add it back into the Pot and heat it over low heat.
  14. Add Salt and Pepper.
  15. Add some boiled Corn and some boiled Chickpeas (optional).

  16. Mix everything together thoroughly.
