Crispy Egg Chips Snack using only 1 Egg, a tasty Filipino Snack
Crispy Egg Chips are a popular finger food in the Philippines and this recipe requires only 1 egg and a few basic ingredients to make. This is a great alternative to Potato Chips and you can even eat this like Pappadum with Rice.
Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- Some Pepper
- Some Salt
- 5 tbsp of All Purpose Flour
- 5 tbsp of Corn Flour
- Sesame Seeds (optional)

Some Turmeric Powder

3 Ice Cubes
- Some Chili Powder
Instructions
- Add 1 Egg into a bowl.
- Add some Pepper.
- Add some Salt.
- Whisk everything together thoroughly.
- Add 5 tbsp of Flour through a sieve.
- Add 5 tbsp of Corn Flour through a sieve.

Add 3 Ice Cubes.
- Add some Sesame Seeds (optional).
- Add some Turmeric Powder (optional).
- Add some Water.
- Whisk everything together. You should get a watery consistency.
- Set this mixture aside for about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Scoop some of the mixture using a spoon into Hot Oil and fry until it turns a golden color.
