Crispy Potato Roll Ups that are better than Potato Chips

Crispy Potato Roll Ups are our version of a healthier homemade snack that are better than Potato Chips. This is a quick snack you can make using only 2 Potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 Potatoes with the skin removed.
  • Salt
  • Some Corn Flour
  • Powdered Curry Leaves

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from 2 Potatoes.
  2. Slice it into thin pieces.
  3. Add some Salt to a pot.
  4. Add the Potato pieces into it.
  5. Now add Water and wash the Potato pieces to remove any remaining Salt.
  6. Lay each of the Potato pieces on a preparation board.
  7. Take a tissue paper and press down on each piece to remove any additional Water.
  8. Flip the Potato piece and repeat to remove any additional Water on the other side.
  9. Lay half of these pieces flat on a new preparation board.
  10. Sprinkle some Corn Flour on top of each piece on the new preparation board.
  11. Lightly fry some Curry Leaves.
  12. After frying, blend the Curry Leaves into a powder.
  13. Sprinkle the Curry Leaves powder on top of the pieces on the new preparation board.
  14. Now take each of the pieces remaining and put it on top of each of the seasoned Potato pieces on the new preparation board.
  15. Sprinkle some Corn Flour on top again.
  16. Sprinkle some Powdered Curry Leaves again.
  17. Roll each Potato piece and then insert a toothpick in the middle to maintain it's shape.
  18. Deep fry each of the Potato pieces until it turns a golden color.
  19. After frying, remove the toothpick from each of the Potato pieces.
