2 Quick Recipes with Maggi Noodles - Biryani and Stir Fried Noodles
Maggi Noodles is a favorite among many people in Sri Lanka and in these 2 instant recipes, we're creating an amazing Maggi Noodles Biryani and a Stir Fried Maggie Noodles. Both recipes require only 1 Maggie Noodles Packet each.
Ingredients
For the Maggie Biryani

1 Maggie Noodles Packet (we won't be using the seasoning packet)
- Some Cumin Seeds
- 2 Dried Whole Chilies broken into pieces by hand
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 thinly sliced Green Chili
- Half an Onion chopped

Some diced Capsicum
- Some crushed Ginger and some crushed Garlic Cloves blended into a paste
- Half a Tomato diced
- some Turmeric Powder
- some Pepper
- 1 tsp of Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp of Masala Powder
- Salt
- Some Yogurt (if you want you can add Curd instead)
- Some Soya Meat
- Some Coriander Leaves
- Either a boiled Egg or fried Omelette (optional)
For the Chinese Stir Fried Maggie Noodles

1 Maggie Noodles Packet (we won't be using the seasoning packet)
- Some crushed Ginger and some crushed Garlic Cloves blended into a paste
- 1 thinly sliced Green Chili
- Some diced Capsicum
- half a chopped Onion
- Some chopped Tomato
- Some diced Carrot
- 1 tsp of Roasted Curry Powder
- Some Pepper
- Salt
- 1.5 tbsp of Soya Sauce
- 1 tbsp of Tomato Sauce
- Some Spring Onions
- Sesame Seeds
Instructions
For the Maggie Biryani
- Heat some Oil in a saucepan.
- Add some Cumin Seeds over medium heat.
- Add 2 Dried Whole Chilies broken into pieces by hand.
- Add a Bay leaf.
- Add a thinly sliced Green Chili.
- Add half an Onion chopped.
- Add some diced Capsicum.
- Add some crushed Ginger and some crushed Garlic Cloves blended into a paste.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- When it is almost fried, add half a Tomato diced.
- Add some Turmeric Powder.
- Add some Pepper.
- Add 1 tsp of Chili Powder.
- Add 1 tbsp of Masala Powder.
- Add Salt to taste.
- Add some Yogurt.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- Over medium heat, add 1 cup of Water.
- Add some Soya Meat to a bowl with hot water and set it aside for a couple of minutes.
- After 2 to 3 minutes, take the Soya Meat, squeeze to remove any excess Water, wash, and then cut into small pieces and add it.
- Add the Maggi Noodles to the middle.
- Once the Maggi Noodles becomes soft, stir it into the mixture.
- At this point, you can cover with a lid if you want.
- Add some Coriander Leaves.
- When serving, either add a boiled Egg or a fried Omelette.
For the Chinese Stir Fried Maggie Noodles
- Boil a packet of Maggi Noodles and drain any Water.
- Heat some Oil in a saucepan.
- Add some crushed Ginger and some crushed Garlic blended into a paste.
- Add a thinly sliced Green Chili.
- Add some diced Capsicum.
- Add half an Onion chopped.
- Add some diced Tomato.
- Add some diced Carrot.
- Add the boiled Maggi Noodles.
- Add 1 tsp of Roasted Curry Powder.
- Add some Pepper.
- Add Salt to taste.
- Add 1.5 tbsp of Soya Sauce.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- Add 1 tbsp of Tomato Sauce.
- Add some Spring Onions.
- Mix everything together.
- When serving, you can add some Sesame Seeds.
