Make Jam Swiss Rolls without an Oven in under 10 mins

In these economic times, it is not affordable to buy pastries and short eats from the bakery every day. With this Jam Swiss Rolls recipe, you can make these sweet Jam Swiss Rolls in only 10 minutes and best of all, you don't need to add any Milk or Butter. Another bonus with this recipe is that you don't need to use an Oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tbsp of Sugar
  • 4 tbsp of All Purpose Flour
  • Half a tsp of Baking Powder
  • Some Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp of Cooking Oil
  • Strawberry Jam (we used Mixed Fruit Jam)
  • Powdered Sugar or Icing Sugar

Instructions

  1. Break 2 Eggs into a bowl.
  2. Add 3 tbsp of Sugar and use a beater to beat it until you get a creamy consistency.
  3. Add 4 tbsp of Flour and half a tsp of Baking Powder to a sieve and then shake it through the sieve.
  4. Add some Vanilla Extract.
  5. Add 1 tbsp of Oil and mix everything together thoroughly using a spoon.
  6. Put a saucepan on the stove, rub some Oil, and then put a parchment paper on top.
  7. Rub some Oil on the parchment paper.
  8. Now pour the mixture into it.
  9. Cover with a lid and cook under the lowest heat for 10 minutes.
  10. After cooking, take it off the stove and then remove the parchment paper from the bottom and flip it.
  11. Spread Strawberry Jam on the top part.
  12. Use the parchment paper and roll the Swiss Roll.
  13. After rolling it, wrap the ends and then freeze for 10 minutes.
  14. To make it more presentable, you can add some Powdered Sugar or Icing Sugar.
