Using Guava to make a simple and tasty Curry
Many fruits can be used in a curry and Guava is no exception. The taste of this Guava Curry is similar to that of Winter Melon. If you live in a tropical climate where there is plenty of Guava, you will want to try this recipe.
Ingredients

2 Large Kilo Guava
- A piece of Goroka
- 2 crushed Garlic Cloves
- A thinly sliced Ginger piece
- 2 sliced Green Chilies
- Half a chopped Onion
- Some Curry Leaves
- Some Pandan Leaves
- Some toasted Fenugreek Seeds
- 1 tsp of Chili Powder
- 1 tsp of Roasted Curry Powder
- Some Turmeric Powder
- Salt
- Coconut Milk
- Some crushed Cardamom and Cloves
- Some crushed Cinnamon
- Some Coconut pieces
Instructions
- Use a spoon and remove the stem from the 2 Kilo Guavas and then the inside part to remove any seeds.
- Cut it into square pieces.
- Add 2 crushed Garlic Cloves.
- Add a thinly sliced Ginger piece.
- Add 2 sliced Green Chilies.
- Add half a chopped Onion.
- Add some Curry Leaves.
- Add some Pandan Leaves.
- Add some toasted Fenugreek Seeds.
- Add 1 tsp of Chili Powder.
- Add 1 tsp of Roasted Curry Powder.
- Add some Turmeric Powder.
- Add Salt to taste.
- Add Coconut Milk until everything is covered.
- Mix everything together.
- Cook under medium heat.
- While cooking, add some crushed Cardamom and Cloves and some crushed Cinnamon.
- To make it tastier, add some Coconut pieces when the curry is boiling.
- Now cook until most of the Water has evaporated.
