Soft Peanut Dodol using only 4 main ingredients
Peanut Dodol is a super soft and tasty sweet that is very simple to prepare. This recipe uses only 4 ingredients and takes only 10 minutes to prepare.
If you like to eat a piece of jaggery with a strong plain tea, you will really enjoy these Peanut Dodol.
Ingredients
- 250g of Peanuts
- 2 and a half cups of Milk
- 2 cups of Sugar
- Some crushed Cardamom and Cloves
- Some crushed Cinnamon
- A handful of All Purpose Flour
- A handful of Semolina Flour
Instructions
- Roast 250g of Peanuts.

Remove the peels from the Peanuts.
- Add the Peanuts to a blender and blend it.
- Now add the blended Peanut mixture into a bowl and mix in half a cup of Milk.
- Add 2 cups of Milk to a saucepan.
- Add 2 cups of Sugar.
- Under medium heat, stir frequently until all the Sugar has melted.
- Add some crushed Cardamon and Cloves.
- Add some crushed Cinnamon.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- Turn the stove down to the lowest heat setting.
- Now add the Peanut mixture.
- Stir frequently until all of the Peanut mixture has melted.
- In the meantime, add a parchment paper to baking dish.
- Rub some Cooking Oil on the parchment paper.
- When the Peanut mixture has melted and thickened, add a handful of All Purpose Flour.
- Mix thoroughly.
- When the oil from the Peanut mixture starts to come out, add a handful of Semolina Flour.

Now add the Peanut mixture to the baking dish.
- Use a spoon to spread the Peanut mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- Add some chopped Peanuts or Cashews on top.
- Now let it cool down for about half an hour.
- Put it in the refrigerator and let it cool down for about an hour.
