Creamy Cheesy White Sauce Pasta without using any Cheese
Pasta is a comfort food for many and it is even better when it is Creamy and Cheesy. This White Sauce Pasta is made without using any cheese or heavy cream. This pasta makes a convenient quick meal you can make in 15 minutes for lunch or dinner. I like to make it for breakfast because it is so easy to make.
We combine both Sri Lankan and Italian flavors when we combine Curry Leaves, Chili Flakes, Cardamom, and Oregano in this Pasta. Even though this Pasta does not have any Cheese, it tastes very cheesy.
You can use any kind of Pasta you want like Penne, Shells, or Elbow.
This recipe is a complete meal because it contains both vegetable and chicken. This is a tasty way to eat more vegetables and also get more protein.

Ingredients
- 250g of Pasta (you can use any kind of Pasta)
- 100g of Chicken (optional)
- Some Ginger
- Some Garlic Cloves
- Half an Onion diced
- Some diced Banana Peppers
- Some shredded Carrots
- Some diced Bell Peppers (use 2 different colors)
- Some thinly sliced Leeks
- Some chopped Curry Leaves
- Some crushed Cardamom
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1.5 cups of Milk
- 2 tbsp of Butter
- 2 tbsp of All Purpose Flour
- Some Chili Flakes
- Some dried Oregano
Instructions

Boil 250g of Pasta with some Salt.
- After boiling the Pasta, drain and then wash the Pasta to remove any excess starch.
- Add the Pasta into a bowl and set it aside for now.
- Cut 100g of Chicken into smaller pieces.
- Season the Chicken pieces with Salt and Pepper.
- Heat 2 tbsp of Oil in a saucepan.
- Add the Chicken Pieces into the saucepan.
- Cook the Chicken pieces while stirring frequently.
- Now add some Ginger and some Garlic Cloves that have been blended together into a paste.
- Add half an Onion diced.
- Add some diced Banana Peppers.
- Add some shredded Carrots
- Add some diced Bell Peppers (use 2 different colors).
- Add some thinly sliced Leeks.
- Add some chopped Curry Leaves.
- Add some crushed Cardamom.
- Stir everything together over low heat until it is cooked.
- Add some Salt to taste.
- Add some Pepper.
- Stir everything together.
- Now add 1.5 cups of Milk into a pot.
- Add 2 tbsp of Butter.
- Mix 2 tbsp of All Purpose Flour in some Hot Water.
- Add this Flour mixture into the pot.
- Turn the stove on to low heat.
- Stir frequently.
- When the mixture starts thickening, turn off the stove.
- Add some Pepper.
- Add some Chili Flakes.
- Add some Salt to taste.
- Turn the stove back on to low heat and stir thoroughly.
- Add some dried Oregano.
- Add the boiled Pasta.
- Add the Chicken and Vegetable mixture.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- When serving this Pasta, sprinkle some Oregano and dried Chili Flakes on top.
