How to make Traditional Sweet Mukulu using only 3 ingredients
Mukulu is a popular snack for teatime in the Southern region of Sri Lanka. It is a traditional snack from Sri Lankan history.

Ingredients

250g of grated Coconut (try to get a more wet grated Coconut)
- 250g of All Purpose Flour
- Salt
- 150g of Sugar (adjust as you need)
Instructions
- Add 250g of grated Coconut into a bowl.
- Add 250g of All Purpose Flour into the bowl.
- Add Salt to taste.
- Now mix everything together. This will form clumps but will not form a dough.
- Keep mixing for about 5 minutes.
- Now add 150g of Sugar.

Mix together and then we will form the shape of the Mukulu quickly before the Sugar starts to melt.
- Scoop some of the mixture into your hand and shape it into a ball.
- Then stretch a little bit from 4 sides of the ball to make a plus sign.
- Stretch a little bit of the top and bottom so each side has a piece sticking out.
- Deep fry each of the Mukulu over medium heat until it turns a golden color.
