Green Gram Noodles Soup to warm you on a rainy day
Soup is perfect on a rainy or cold winter day to warm you up and this Green Gram Soup contains all the warming ingredients like Garlic and Pepper. It contains both Green Gram and Noodles and makes a complete meal that gives you energy and protein.

Ingredients
- 150g of Green Gram
- Pod of Garlic
- Maldive Fish (optional)
- 6 to 7 thinly sliced Shallots
- Curry Leaves
- Ginger
- 1 tsp of Pepper
- Cumin Seeds
- Coriander Seeds
- Salt
- Noodles
Instructions
- Toast 150g of Green Gram.
- Add the toasted Green Gram into a blender and blend coarsely.
- After blending, separate and discard any peels from the Green Gram.
- Wash the Green Gram and leave it to soak in Water for half an hour.
- After soaking the Green Gram, boil it for about 10 minutes.
- Let the Green Gram cool down.
- Add the Green Gram including the Water into a blender and blend it into a thin liquid.
- Now add the Garlic without the peels from a Pod of Garlic.
- Add some Maldive Fish (optional).
- Add 6 to 7 thinly sliced Shallots.
- Add some Curry Leaves.
- Add some thinly sliced Ginger.
- Add Water as needed to the soup consistency you like.
- Add 1 tsp of Pepper.
- Toast some Cumin and Coriander Seeds together.
- Blend the toasted Cumin and Coriander Seeds together into a powder.
- Add 1 tsp from the Cumin and Coriander Seeds mixture.
- Add Salt to taste.
- Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- While cooking, add some Noodles.
