Tasty Masala Chapati for Breakfast in 30 minutes

Masala Chapati is a spicy tasty breakfast you can make quickly in about half an hour. It's has a spicy Masala filling containing Chicken, Onions, Green Chilies, and spices. With 250g of Wheat Flour, you can make about 7 Masala Chapati.

Ingredients

  • 250g of Wheat Flour
  • 3 crushed Garlic Cloves
  • Chopped Onions
  • 150g of cubed Chicken (optional)
  • 2 sliced Green Chilies
  • Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp of Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp of Chili Flakes
  • 2 grated large hard boiled Eggs
  • Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. Add 250g of Wheat Flour into a bowl.
  2. Add Salt to taste.
  3. Add 2 tbsp of Oil.
  4. Add Water, a little at a time as much as you need, while mixing to form a dough.
  5. After forming the dough, cover the bowl and set aside for 15 minutes.
  6. Heat some Oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Add 3 crushed Garlic Cloves.
  8. Add a small amount of chopped Onions.
  9. Stir this mixture and cook for about 2 minutes.
  10. Add 150g of cubed chicken.
  11. Add 2 sliced Green Chilies.
  12. Add half an Onion chopped.
  13. Add some Curry Leaves.
  14. Stir this mixture thoroughly and cook for about 3 minutes.
  15. Now add 1 tsp of Pepper.
  16. Add Salt to taste.
  17. Add some Turmeric Powder.
  18. Add 1 tbsp of Chili Flakes.
  19. Stir this mixture thoroughly and cook for about 2 minutes.
  20. Add 2 grated large hard boiled Eggs.
  21. Stir this mixture thoroughly.
  22. Cook until this mixture becomes dry and then turn off the stove.
  23. Break the dough into smaller pieces.
  24. Rub some Flour on a preparation board.
  25. Roll each dough piece into a ball in your hand.
  26. Place the dough ball on the preparation board and flatten it thin using a rolling pin.
  27. Scoop some of the filling into the middle.
  28. Fold the flattened dough into a triangle shape.
  29. Press down on the edges to seal it.
  30. Rub some Oil in a saucepan and heat it.
  31. Add the Masala Chapati and cook both sides.
