Pani Saw Kanda, a new way to drink Sago Porridge
Pani Saw Kanda is a sweet porridge made from Sago and it makes for a nutritious breakfast drink. It is tastier and more healthy than regular Saw Kanda because it adds Green Gram and spices. When you have a festive occasion, this Saw Kanda Porridge makes a healthy replacement for an after meal dessert because of its sweetness.
Sago is calorie dense so it is great for when you need energy and strength. It is commonly drank in Sri Lanka to cool down from warm weather and to reduce body heatness. It is a gluten free food.
