How to make Sago Biscuits without an Oven
Sago Biscuits are a popular type of biscuits made of Sago and Coconut. It has a unique crispy texture due to this combination. This recipe does not require any baking so it is very simple to prepare on the stove top.

Ingredients
- 250g of Sago
- 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds
- 2 handfuls of shredded Coconut
- 250g of All Purpose Flour (you can use powdered Biscuits alternatively)
- 200g of Sugar
- 1 tbsp of Butter (optional)
- Salt
Instructions

Toast 250g of Sago in a saucepan.

When the color has slightly changed, we will take it off the stove.
- Now add the Sago to it.

Add 250g of All Purpose Flour.
- Add 200g of Sugar.
- Optional: Add about 1 tbsp of Butter.
- Add Salt to taste.
- Mix everything together thoroughly.
- While mixing by hand, add Water slowly.
- Add enough Water slowly and mix thoroughly until you can form a ball of dough in your hand. That is the consistency you want.
- The next step is to flatten the dough by hand into a large circle shape.
- Now heat up a saucepan under medium heat.

Add parchment paper to the saucepan (you can cut it to fit the saucepan).
- Use a lid from a jar to cut the Sago dough into circles.

Under the lowest heat, add each Sago biscuit and cook both sides.
